At the heart of London-based Detronics is a four decades long collaboration between David Dent (The Detonators, These Bridges, Giantene) and Ian Stark (The Fads, Flowers of London, Fun with Food).

Combining moods of progressive, psychedelic and alternative, David takes the lead on the lyrics and vocals, while Ian majors on the musical arrangements. That said, each new song is a genuine job-share, and Detronics’ 2022 debut album ‘All That I Asked For’ combines many new pieces alongside songs co-developed in the earliest days of their partnership, re-arranged and re-recorded for a contemporary audience.
